Steamed Clams

Rinse clams thoroughly. Discard any clams that do not close when gently tapped. Place in saucepan. Add 1/2 cup water, cover and cook over medium high heat until clams open. Remove individual clams as they open, adding water if needed. Do not overcook. Serve with garlic butter or seafood cocktail sauce. Enjoy.
